Door Will Not Lock - Front Load Washer
Possible Solutions
Was the cycle just started?
The door will not lock for approximately 10 seconds after starting a cycle. This is normal.
Does the lock need to be cleaned?
Verify that there is nothing blocking the door and the lock mechanism. Always clean the door area for soap build-up.
Cycle Power
If you are still experiencing concern, cycle power to the washer. Disconnect power for 30 seconds and plug back in.
