Has all packaging and shipping material been removed? 

Ensure all protective material from the turntable and the hub has been removed.  Check to make sure the tape was also removed from the hub. 

Is the turntable properly in place, and the Support Roller Assembly operating correctly?

A thumping or rumbling sound may occur in the microwave oven if the turntable is not installed correctly or if the support roller assembly is not operating correctly.

The turntable can rotate in either direction to help cook food more evenly. Do not operate the microwave oven without having the turntable in place.

Is the Turntable function turned off using the "Turntable" button on the control?

The turntable may be turned off (on some models) for manual cooking only. This is helpful when cooking with plates that are bigger than the turntable, or when cooking with dishes that are side by side.

Is the Turntable function turned off using the "Tools" function in the control? (select models)

• The Tools selection key allows you to access hidden features within the Electronic Oven Control.
• The Tools selection key allows you to access hidden functions within the Electronic Oven Control. These hidden functions will enable you to set the clock, change the oven temperature between Fahrenheit and Celsius, turn the audible signals and prompts on and off, adjust the oven calibration, turn the turntable On/Off, change language and turn on demo mode.

• The Sabbath Mode is also set using the Tools selection key.
