Using the Alarm Feature
How to Use the Alarm Feature on Your Maytag Freezer?
The temperature alarm is located below the temperature control and sounds an audible buzzing alarm if the freezer temperature reaches 10°F (-12°C) or more above the normal for your selected temperature setting. The alarm is controlled by a 3-position switch.
How Do You Change the Alarm Settings?
To change the temperature alarm settings:
- Press the switch to the right to Test the Alarm.
- Press the switch to the left to turn the alarm feature "On".
- Move the switch to the Center to turn the alarm "Off".
