Filter Not Collecting Hair - Pet Pro

Possible Solution

Is the filter installed? 

To capture hair, the filter must be installed in the agitator during the cycle. Although it may collect hair whenever installed, it works best when the Pet Pro modifier is turned on.

Does the filter need to be emptied? 

The filter is intended to be emptied between each cycle, even if the Pet Pro modifier wasn't selected. If the filter is not emptied between loads, collected material will build up and decrease efficiency in future cycles.

Was the Pet Pro cycle selected? 

Select this option to boost pet hair filtering performance. You can use this mode anytime, but it’s especially suited for loads with high pet hair. Turn this modifier on/off with a single button.

NOTE: Pet Pro modifier is intended for removing pet hair from clothes. Do not put pets into the Washer.

Was the washer overloaded? 

Place a load of sorted items loosely in the washer. Items need to move freely for the best cleaning, to reduce wrinkling, and to remove pet hair. You may need to reduce your load size.  Avoid tightly packing the washer. The washer will not rinse thoroughly or spin correctly if tightly packed.
