drn - Error Code
Possible Solutions
Did you receive a F9 E1 or DRN long drain alert?
If F9 E1 (drain pump system problem—long drain) appears in the display, the washer is taking too long to drain water.
- The drain may extend more than 4.5" (114 mm) into the standpipe. Check the plumbing for correct drain hose installation. Use the drain hose form and attach it securely to the drainpipe or tub. Do not tape over the drain opening.
- Ensure that the drain hose end is higher than 36 inches from the floor. If not, the washer could siphon (fill and drain at the same time).
- Drain hose is kinked or clogged
