F9E1 - Long Drain

Is the drain hose installed correctly?

Verify that the drain hose is not too far down into the standpipe beyond the elbow, which could cause siphoning, water to drain back into the tub, or slow or no spin. The way the drain hose comes from the manufacturer is correct for standpipe or wash tub installation. The drain hose form SHOULD NOT be altered for standpipe or wash tub installation. Do not tape the drain hose to the drain pipe.

Is the drain hose kinked or clogged?

Make sure the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. Straighten the hose for adequate water flow. Remove any blockage from the drainpipe or utility sink.
