F8 E6 Error code for top load washers
Possible Solutions
Did you receive a F8 E6 washer lid open alert?
A F8 E6 alert indicates the washer lid was left open. Close the lid to clear the display. Depending on your model, you may have to touch the power button. If the lid is left open for more than 10 minutes, the cycle will reset and water in the washer will drain.
If washer has drained, start cycle over. Do not add more detergent, as the clothing should already be penetrated with water and detergent.
