Cleaning the outside of the washer:

Use a soft, damp cloth or sponge to wipe away any spills. Use only mild soaps or cleaners when cleaning external washer surfaces.

IMPORTANT: To avoid damaging the washer’s finish, do not use abrasive products.

If your controls are on the washer lid:

Please note that if your washer model has controls on the top of the lid, clean as directed above. However, the lid will need to dry completely to operate correctly. Even slight dampness can cause no operation of the control. Allow the control to air dry completely, or take a soft dry cloth and dry controls before trying to operate the washer.
