Lid is Locked - Unable to Open - Top Load Washer
Possible Solution
Has the cycle ended?
Once the cycle has been completed, it may take a few minutes for the washer to unlock.
Cancel the cycle
Hold the "cancel" button for 3-5 seconds (depending on the model). If the cycle has been completed this may unlock the door, if the washer is in mid-cycle it will trigger a drain cycle, once completed, the door should unlock.
Reset power to the product:
Cycle Power to the washer by either unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker(s) or fuse(s) for one (1) minute.
