Dispenser Drawer Not Opening
Possible Solution
Is there anything blocking the dispenser?
Ensure all packaging material, tape, and/or other items have been removed from the dispenser.
Is the dispenser clogged or dirty?
After using your washer for a period of time, you may find some residue buildup in the washer’s dispensers. Remove the dispenser, by pressing the release lever, clean the dispenser and dispenser housing.
How to clean the dispenser drawer
- Pull the drawer out until you feel resistance.
- Push the two tabs downward, and then continue pulling out. (Review your Owner's Manual for specific information for your model)
- Wash in warm, soapy water using a mild detergent.
- Rinse with warm water.
- Air dry, or dry with a towel, then place back into the slot
IMPORTANT: Dispenser drawer and tray are not dishwasher safe.
Is the washer level?
Front and rear feet must be in firm contact with the floor, and the washer must be level to operate correctly. Grip the washer from the top and rock back and forth, ensuring all four feet are firmly on the floor. Repeat, rocking washer from side to side. If the washer rocks, adjust the leveling feet per the installation instructions. If all four feet are in firm contact with the floor, tighten the jam nuts against the base of the washer. Jam nuts must be tight against the bottom of the cabinet.
