Dryer Drum Weld in your Dryer

The following information is for all dryers that have a stainless steel drum:

During the manufacturing process of your dryer, the dryer drum must be welded together. The weld is a result of joining two pieces of stainless steel and is approximately 1.5" on the back and front of the dryer drum. The stainless steel drum is formed by this process. 

The weld is smooth, but will have varying degrees of localized discoloration due to the weld. Per product design, this is normal. See picture below:
