Not Tumbling or Spinning - Dryer
Possible Solutions
Is there power going to the dryer?
If the drum light or controls are not lighting, refer to this troubleshooting guide's "No Power" article.
Was the Start, Push to Start, or Hold to Start button firmly pressed?
The Start, Push to Start, or Hold to Start buttons should be pressed and held for two to five seconds to start the dryer.
The control panel features a sensitive surface that responds to a light touch of your finger. To ensure your selections are registered, touch the control panel with your fingertip, not your fingernail. When selecting a setting or option, simply touch its name.
Much like a screen on a cell phone, the electronic touch control panel of the dryer does not respond as well when moisture is present. If there is moisture present on the control panel or your hands, it is possible the controls will not respond. Dry your hands and clear the control panel of moisture with a clean, dry cloth.
Was the power supply cord installed correctly?
Electric dryers require 240-volt power supply. Check with a qualified electrician.
The power supply cord may be incorrectly installed. If the power cord is incorrectly installed, the dryer may not start or heat. Review the Installation Instructions or Video below to check that the power supply cord is properly installed. Also, ensure the terminal screws are tight at the dryer, unplug the dryer before checking terminal screws.
