F3 E2 - Error Code - Dryer
F3E2 - Moisture Sensor
Moisture Sensor Issue
The F3E2 error code occurs when five consecutive loads are dried without registering moisture sensor data. Pressing the 'Power' button will clear the error code and allow you to restart the machine. If the problem persists, call for service.
Is the dryer level?
A dryer that is not level may prevent clothes from adequately touching the moisture sensors on the inside of the dryer. Use a level to check the machine levelness and adjust the dryer feet accordingly. NOTE: The tops of the dryer may be curved, so it may be best to measure the levelness from the cabinet edge or another surface.
Was a small load being dried?
Very small loads or single items may not make contact with the moisture sensors causing this error to occur. Try drying larger loads or use an "Automatic" cycle verse a "Timed Dry" cycle.
Cycle Power
If the problem persists, perform a power cycle.
- Power unit down by turning off the circuit breaker(s) for one (1) minute.
- Power unit up by turning on the circuit breaker(s).
- Start a time dry cycle.
- Monitor the dryer for one (1) minute to ensure the error code does not display again.
