Leaking Water Front or Top - Commercial Grade Washer
Possible Solutions
Is the washer level?
If the washer is not level, water can bounce off the top of the basket or the load. If the washer cabinet leans too far forward, the interior basket may also seem to be shifted forward. Ensure that the two front feet are installed, the washer is level front to back and side to side, and the lock nuts on the feet are tight against the bottom of the cabinet.

Were you washing a large load, oversized items, or water-resistant material?
Oversized items, Water Resistant Materials, or a large, unevenly distributed load can cause water to splash off the top of the load or washer basket.

Are the inlet hoses connected to the correct port?
Verify that the cold water inlet is connected to the cold port and that the hot water inlet is connected to the hot port on the back of the washer.
Is your washer correctly loaded?
Improper loading can cause the basket to be out of alignment and cause water to splash off the tub.
