Vibration - Washing Multiple Items - Commercial Grade Washer
Possible Solutions
Is the washer level and stable?
The washer must be level, and all four washer feet must be in firm contact with the floor. Try to rock the machine diagonally, from corner to corner, with your hands. If the washer rocks, it needs to be leveled.
Is your wash load unbalanced?
If the load is not evenly distributed in the basket when spinning begins, the load will create movement in the basket, resulting in noise and vibration. Place the clothing in loose heaps evenly around the agitator to avoid vibration caused by an unbalanced wash load.
Did you select the Bulky Cycle setting?
The bulky cycle is intended only for oversized, nonabsorbent items such as comforters, pillows, or poly-filled jackets. Washing other items in this cycle could create an unbalanced load or poor wash performance. Items not intended for this cycle could float above the impeller, unevenly distribute around the basket and not agitate properly.

Do you have a vibration in the washer basket?
The washer basket will move while the washer is operating. This is part of the washer's normal operation.
It is usual for the washer basket to move freely from front to back and left to right.

What were you washing?
When washing large or heavy items, there are several things to consider for the best wash performance:
Always check the care label to ensure the item is machine washable in a top-load washer (some bulky items state to only wash in a front-load commercial-style washer).
For items that absorb a lot of water, such as quilts or cotton blankets, distribute the items around the wash basket in a doughnut shape around the impeller. It is not recommended to wash a single absorbent article. Similar items should be washed together, trying to balance the things around the impeller to prevent an off-balance load. Example: Do not wash one rug. Wash two or three in an attempt to balance the load for a spin. Make sure that the top of the impeller is visible. Use towels as counterweights if needed to ensure the load does not go off balance.
- Never overload the washer. Clothes should be loosely added and only as high as the top row of holes in the wash basket.
- Wash like items together; separate dissimilar items.
- If a drain pan is used under the washer, the leveling legs may need to be adjusted out to raise the height of the machine.
- Do not add more water - there must be the engagement of the impeller and the clothes. If there is too much water, the items will float, and the cleaning action will be less due to the design of cycles.

Did you experience long cycle times?
Your washer has sensors that will detect if the washer is out of balance. It will go through a "correction" process to try to help the washer go back into balance. This process goes through a series of adding extra water, and agitation, to try to correct the out-of-balance situation.
If you notice that your washer cycle time has increased, it may be out of balance, and going through this correction procedure. Allow the machine to continue.
