Display Changes After Opening Door
Possible Solutions
Did steam exit the oven?
Steam may condense on cool surfaces like the control, display, and/or oven door. The steam that collects on the display could inadvertently change the current cycle or settings. High-moisture foods such as turkey, roasts, and casseroles may produce more steam than other foods. This is temporary, and the moisture should dissipate.
Does the display need to be cleaned?
Food build-up, such as oil, grease, and/or food spills, could trigger the control panel from the weight generated by the build-up. Use a mixture of warm water and soap to clean this area. Ensure that the display is dry thoroughly with a microfiber cloth.
Reminder
The oven vent(s) and the bottom vent should not be blocked or covered since they allow fresh air to enter and exit the cooling system. Blocking or covering vents will cause poor air circulation, which can affect cooking, cleaning, and cooling results.
