Nothing is Working - Gas Range
Possible Solutions
Is the main gas shut-off valve turned ON?
Verify the main gas valve is ON.
Has a household circuit breaker tripped or the fuse blown?
Ensure a household fuse has not blown or a circuit breaker has tripped. If necessary, reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse. Also, check to ensure the outlet the range is plugged into is operational.
Is the control lock on?
The control lock on a range is intended to "lock" the control from unintended use. This is perfect for households with children who like to touch buttons so the range cannot be turned on accidentally or turned off when running.
Is the control set for a delayed start?
The oven can be set for a bake function with a Delayed Start, meaning the function will not start until the start time is reached.
Cancel the control and restart the bake function.
Is the appliance in Demo Mode?
Some ovens may be equipped with a demo mode feature. Demo Mode allows you to explore various features and options on your appliance without all the functionality (e.g., turning on the heating elements). If your appliance is in Demo Mode, it will say "Try the Product," "View Product Video," or "Showroom Mode" on display after powering on. To disable Demo Mode, follow the on-screen prompts or reference the appliance Owner's Manual.
