If the cooking time is more than 2 minutes, after cooking ends, the cooling fan and convection fan are ON for approximately 3 minutes or until the microwave cools down. This helps protect the electronic components of the microwave.

What Cooking cycle was being used?

Depending on the cycle selected, the convection fan may turn on. This allows hot air to circulate around the cavity. This constant movement of air surrounds the food, heating the outer portion of the food quickly.
