"Door" Or "Open/Close" - Error Code - Countertop Microwave
Possible Solutions
If "Door" or "Open/Close" is appearing on the microwave display, there are things you can do to troubleshoot. If a message about the door appears in the display, the door has been closed for 5 minutes or more without the microwave oven being started. This occurs to avoid unintended starting of the microwave oven. Open and close the door, then begin the cycle.

Is the door icon illuminated?
A new 2-step door-opening feature has been added to some microwaves to help avoid unintended access. When children do not have access to the appliance, there is a disable function if the 2-step functionality is unnecessary. Once you set the cooking time and press the Start button, the Door Lock icon will appear on the display.
To open the microwave, Press the Stop button and then press the door release button. For additional information on this feature, please refer to the Owner's Manual.

Place the microwave oven on a flat and level counter, table, shelf, or cart that will not block the opening or closing of the microwave oven door
