Displaying H or HOT - Electric Cooktop
Possible Solutions
Allow cooktop to cool.
An H or HOT will display in the heat setting window when any surface cooking area is too hot to touch, even after the surface cooking area(s) is turned off.
Reset power to the product:
- Allow cooktop to cool, if the H is still displayed or is flashing:
- Power cooktop down by turning off the circuit breaker(s) for one (1) minute.
- Power cooktop up by turning on the circuit breaker(s).
- Verify the cooktop operates.
