How to tell if your Top Load High Efficiency Washer is unbalanced or overloaded

Is the Load Unbalanced or Overloaded:

The wash load must be balanced and not tightly packed. A large unbalanced load could result in a reduced spin speed and wet clothes at the end of the cycle.

Load garments in loose heaps evenly around the basket wall. Load with dry items only. Add only 1 or 2 garments after the washer has started.

Empty pockets and use garment bags for small items.  Small items can get caught in pump or between basket and tub, which can slow draining.

If clothing gets out of balance, there will be movement in the basket which will result in noise and vibration. Place the load evenly around the basket.
